So, off to Tottenham Court Road to buy 2 cameras. We hope to post some shots soon. No checking into the hotel until 2pm, so we walked from our hotel in Knightsbridge to Buckingham Palace, through St. James Park to the Churchill War Room Museum. Stopped in for worthwhile tour. Sir Winston had great wit, astonishing eloquence, and enormous cojones. Isabella wondered why Mrs. Churchill's bunker bedroom was separate from that of her husband's. Anyone know? We didn't want to ask and be tacky Americans. Then again, Churchill did say he'd keep "buggering on" as he reached octogenarian status.
Kids must have walked 3-4 miles on no sleep. They show real promise.
The Knightsbridge is lovely.
